THE CUCKOO stepped up on the form he showed in three runs in maiden company to defy a mark of 70 on his nursery debut, although he had absolutely nothing in hand. He is lightly raced, and could progress again, but this was a weak race.
Dispol Grand, trying sand for the first time, showed good speed throughout and stuck on to the line. The surface clearly suited.
You've Been Mowed, having her first start on Fibresand, was stuck out wide of the main pack from stall one and could never get in a telling blow. She has had a few chances now.
Sale Or Return should find things easier back in sellers, and he may also get 6f.
Alphabeth did not look to face the kickback once getting outpaced and will appreciate a switch of surfaces.
