Tornadodancer tracked leaders on outer, 3rd halfway, ridden to lead over 1f out, kept on well final furlong
Shining Armour chased leader in 2nd, ridden in close 3rd over 1f out, kept on to 2nd final furlong, not reach winner
Inourthoughts led, ridden and headed over 1f out, no extra final furlong
The Emperor Nero held up in rear, ridden into 4th over 1f out, kept on final furlong, no impression on leaders
Over The Tylery raced mainly 4th behind leaders, ridden and no extra 2f out, dropped to rear over 1f out
Shining Armour, unplaced on his two previous starts this season and the winner of a 6f maiden at Fairyhouse last year, raced prominently and had every chance. He kept on for pressure inside the final furlong but the winner was always holding him.
The Emperor Nero had run poorly on testing ground a couple of times last year and has proved a bit disappointing since easily winning a 6f maiden on good ground at Naas in June. Dropping down in trip, he jumped awkwardly out of the stalls and was struggling from halfway before rallying somewhat inside the final furlong.
