Cape Rock held up towards rear of centre group, switched left and headway 2f out, soon ridden, stayed on

Benedetto chased leaders in centre, ridden over 2f out, stayed on same pace

Whiteoak Lady held up towards rear of centre group, ridden and headway 2f out, one pace final furlong

Billberry mid-division in centre, ridden over 3f out, no impression final 2f

Sir Kyffin´s Folly held up towards rear of centre group, ridden 2f out, some late progress, never a threat

Amylee raced with one other on stands' side, chased leader, effort and edged left 2f out, soon weakened

Divine Power chased leaders in centre until weakened 2f out

Centenerola raced in centre, prominent, ridden 3f out, soon beaten

Mister New York mid-division in centre until weakened 2f out

Russian Reel soon switched to centre group, held up, headway over 3f out, soon ridden, weakened 2f out

Novellen Lad mid-division in centre, ridden over 2f out, weakened over 1f out

Manhattan Dream raced with one other on stands' side, prominent until 2f out

A good, competitive three-year-old handicap. Two of these raced towards the stands' side, but they were well beaten and the main action took place up the middle.

ELYSEE PALACE was very disappointing when a beaten favourite at Leicester on her previous start, but she left that form behind on her return from two months off. A rise in the weights will force her up in class, but she is progressive and there ought to be more to come.

Lodi emerges with plenty of credit behind the potentially useful winner, as he pulled well clear of the remainder.

Willkandoo was given a positive ride and kept on, but he basically just found a couple too strong. He remains progressive.

Tina's Best ran well and is entitled to be sharper next time, as she had been off for almost three months.

Cape Rock has yet to win a race, but he fared best of those held up and is in good form.

Amylee might be better than she showed as she was one of only two to race stands' side and the other, Manhattan Dream, who had won both her previous starts this year, ended up finishinglast. [RW]
