Ryehill Dreamer raced mainly in 4th, ridden to challenge 1f out, stayed on final furlong to lead inside final 100yds, kept on well close home
Vilasol tracked leaders in 3rd, improved to challenge 1 1/2f out, led 1f out, kept on well final furlong, headed inside final 100yds and no extra
Glisten led early, soon chased leader in 2nd, improved to dispute halfway, led 1 1/2f out, headed 1f out, kept on, no extra last 100yds
Sawtooth Mountain soon led, disputed from halfway, ridden and headed 1 1/2f out, soon no extra, kept on same pace
Achak in rear, ridden 2f out, kept on same pace final furlong
Four of the five runners were previous winners, including RYEHILL DREAMER, who followed up his Gowran Park maiden win over this journey on soft ground in May.
They went no gallop early and the race turned into a sprint from halfway with the eventual winner running third rounding the home turn. To his credit he knuckled sown wellto get his head in front well inside the final furlong and he looks sure to appreciate further.
The Tyros and Futurity Stakes are all possible targets with the National Stakes another likely engagement, according to Fozzy Stack. He is also considering the new 1m Breeders Cup Juvenile Race on October 24.
Glisten broke smartly to race prominently running over the same trip she won a four-runner conditions event at Fairyhouse. The only filly in the race shaped well in this better company to finish ahead of Sawtooth Mountain, who weakened under pressure entering the final furlong. The Ballydoyle colt shouldn't be written off on this performance given the lack of early pace.
Achak although last of the five wasn't disgraced. The only maiden in the field kept on in the closing stages and on this evidence he should be knocking on the door in maiden company before long.
