Caherassdotcom slowly into stride, soon mid-division, ridden and weakened entering straight
Wee Cassie chased leaders, 6th halfway, ridden in 8th 2f out, soon no extra and weakened
Zars Gold, who was encountering some ease in the ground for the first time, was disputing the lead on settling down and went on before the straight. She shook off those closest to her and was clear approaching the final furlong before the winner's surge found her out.
Dawn Valentino, minus the tongue tie she worewhen sixth of 21 on her debut over 6f at the Curragh, was always close up and was third into the straight. Unable to make much impression over a furlong out, she kept on in the closing stages.
Okalydokely had reared up and unseated rider leaving the stalls on his only previous start at Dundalk in December. After backing away from the stalls, he loaded safely and broke smartly, disputing the early lead and being in contention until finding no extra from one and a half furlongs out.
King Of The Nile, another who improved from his debut to finish third at Limerick on his second start, raced prominently but after coming under pressure off the final bend he was unable to make any impression inside the last two furlongs.
Caherassdotcom, placed on two of her three previous starts including when second in the Limerick maiden in which King Of The Nile finished third, was slowly away and after making some progress before the turn in, she dropped away quickly.[TOH]
