Ti Landa mid-division, kept on one pace from under 2f out
Alexander Family very slowly away, in rear entering straight, kept on from under 2f out
Grand Admiral mid-division, edged right under 2f out, soon no extra
Bahamian Reward never a factor
Glann Visce tracked leader, weakened from 2f out
Roll On Rickie tracked leaders on inner, 6th 3f out, no impression when hampered under 2f out
Kalahari Princess prominent on inner, 3rd 3f out, weakened from 2f out
Best of the newcomers was Tomas An Tsioda, who raced in the first two early on, but was strongly under pressure before making the turn into the straight. Jim Bolger's juvenile kept on inside the final 2f to make a satisfactory debut and should improve from the outing.
Driving Snow experienced a rough passage and was hampered over 2f out before staying on again to claim third place.
Excelente was another of the first-timers who put up an eye-catching debut. Jessica Harrington's filly started slowly and was second-last in the early stages. She crept closer andwas gaining on the leaders with every stride without ever getting in a serious blow.
There had been good support for the Ballydoyle second string, the one-eyed Grand Admiral, but he was involved in significant interference over 2f out with Ti Landa, which didn't do either any favours.
Alexander Family was very slowly away and seemed to run green up the straight.
The John Oxx-trained Mourayan, a well-bredson of Alhaarth, was another to never get involved after making a slow start.[RC]
