Camolin looked as though his stamina gave out over a furlong shorter at Ballinrobe last time but he really saw out this trip well on this occasion. He ran equally freely and led after a couple of furlongs, and to his credit he just kept finding even when headed inside the last. This was a good honest performance.
Favourite Heaven Bound had some question marks against her on account of the ground. She seemed to handle it well enough and there were no apparent excuses for her defeat today. She tracked the leaders the whole way and travelled well just behind the runner up inside the final half-mile. Once coming under pressuretwo furlongs out she responded but never really looked like getting there.
Mountain Coral was stepping back up in trip and ran well enough. Held up early, he began to stay on from half a mile out and kept going at one pace inside the last two furlongs. [JOH]
