Eighth on his debut at the Curragh 13 days earlier, Take A Chance clearly benefited from the experience to run out a cosy winner here. Having raced prominently from the outset, the winner was still travelling well as the leaders turned into the straight and while he didn't initially answer the call of his jockey, he then quickened clear nicely approaching the final furlong to win in comfortable style. He could be contesting a Pattern race before long.
Wild Hawk had a decent shout after finishing in the frame on his previous two starts and he was again involved here after trying to make all. He was still travelling well into the straight but had no answer when the winner asserted inside the final furlong. This was another good effort though and it won't be long before he breaks his duck.
Kilmagner raced in third place for the majority of the race but was one-paced from the 2f marker, while odds-on Warrior Nation was another to hold every chance turning into the straight but failed to pick up when asked for his effort on the wide outside. He did stay on again to claim fifth on the line.
Law Officer was making his debut and looked likely to have some say in the finish but was short of room inside the final 2f and should improve from the outing.
