Top-weight Whatwouldmyrasay ran a fine race under her 10lb penalty without getting the run of the race. Held up early, she was close enough to challenge under two furlongs out but met trouble in running at a vital stage. Once she got out, she ran on well all the way to the line but the winner had flown and it's unlikely she would have troubled him anyway.
Lady Bracknell was held up and not a factor in the race before keeping on well late on to be nearest at the finish. This filly had some very respectable form in maidens a couple of years back for Eddie Lynam and has tumbled down the ratings since. She's undoubtedly well enough handicapped to win if able to reproduce some of that.
Arondo reverted back to the level with a decent run. Never far from the pace, he came through to have a chance a furlong and a half out but could keep on only at one pace from there.
Send Me Home was reported to have burst a blood vessel. (JOH)
