Day Day was held up a long way off the pace and gradually got closer, but could never really get into contention.

Tommy Turkle ran a race not totally devoid of promise on his second race under rules. He's likely to be seen at his best once stepping up intrip, and just kept on at one pace from mid-division.
Pepperhill led early and kept up the gallop for a long way, but was just beginning to tire when she fell three out.
Moygashel was staying on, although not making any impression on the winner, when falling at the last.
