| Certainly not a race to get carried away with. The well-bred INNER VOICE travelled well but didn't do anything once he got to the front at the second last. The runner-up briefly headed him and gave him a bump, which probably did the winner more good than anything as he asserted after the last to go on for a length success. He looks sure to follow a familiar path for runners from this stable and head back and forth across the water. High Risk almost gave his trainer a quick cross-card double. He came from some way back on the outside to challenge and head the winner after the second last, but he didn't do a whole lot once he'd got there and was readily enough outpointed. The first three were clear of Aines Dream, who was handy most of the way and might have been a bit closer but for a bad mistake at the third last. Just behind her was the gambled-on Sir Mozart, who briefly got into the race after the third last. His challenge was gone when he was slightly awkward two out.
