While the winner was gunned from the gate and made most of the running, he held on gamely under pressure from Fern House, who was held-up.
Running into trouble over two furlongs, he picked-up with a vengeance approaching the last and stayed on strongly, despite hanging under pressure. A similar race should come his way on this evidence.
Fan Club ran a fair race. Attacca was comfortably held from his wide draw.
