CUTTING COMMENTS, who had shaped well in maiden company, was running here off a mark of 76. He dead-heated with ADOZEN DREAMS, who had likewise run creditably in maiden company.
The pair were inseparable at the line and it would come as no surprise to see both of them progress further.
The speedy Just The Lady made the running and, having briefly looked as though she would be swamped, battled back towards the finish.
Wigan Pier, having been given a chance early on, loomed up more than a furlong out and kept on, albeit without quickening towards the finish.
Kings House may have finished last of the six, but he was arguably an unlucky loser, being constantly denied a clear run from a furlong out.
