A very poor handicap was how the winning trainer described it. Nothing could go with BERKERYS TREASURE and in the end nothing could get near him. Niki O'Shea gave him a breather at the top of the hill before kicking again approaching the straight, and that was the end of the race as a contest.

Cockneys Revival will probably find a handicap somewhere and might even be capable of winning over a bit further. Racing handily, he closed up to chase the leader after the third-last but was caught flat-footed when the winner kicked again and was unable to make any impression from there.

Golden Hare ran a nice race but has never managed to reproduce the form which saw him beat Hide The Evidence in a bumper a couple of years ago. Held up out the back, he made some modest progress on the final circuit and started to stay on pretty effectively from two out but kept going without being a threat.

Emergency Response didn't pull as hard as he did at Roscommon last time but the result wasn't much different. Racing prominently, he was struggling two out and just kept on at one pace from that point.

Favourite Hidden Commotion was never a factor.
