Cosmic Breeze mid-division, 6th halfway, ridden in 5th 2f out, no extra in 4th over 1f out, kept on same pace when hampered inside final furlong
Jakarta Jazz dwelt, towards rear, headway to 7th over 1f out, kept on same pace
Unconsoled chased leaders, 4th halfway, ridden in 6th 2f out, kept on under pressure, no impression over 1f out
Flashy Danser dwelt, never a factor
Fresca slowly into stride, always towards rear
Heatwave always towards rear
Glann Visce chased leader, 2nd halfway, ridden in 3rd 2f out, weakened from 1 1/2f out
CHINTZ showed a good attitude, settling just off the pace and travelling well to join the issue with the eventual runner-up over a furlong out. She ran on well and had to battle a bit as the runner-up found plenty inside the final furlong with both drawing nicely clear. She can only improve andwas described by her trainer as a filly that should very much improve with time.
Runner-up Rare Ransom looks a certainty to win a maiden at least. Breaking well and leading, she was a little bit keen but once the winner came to challenge she foundplenty. She looks a likely sort to do well in stakes company.
The first two pulled nicely clear but there was a nice run by the third home Takasima. Held up early and a small bit outpaced before halfway, she made some progress early in the straight and despite drifting slightly to the left she ran on well to take third. Her pedigree suggests she'll be better with time and distance.
Cosmic Breeze showed a nice bit of ability as well. Racing in mid-division, she couldn't go with the principals early in the straight but was keeping on nicely enough when getting squeezed up quite badly between the eventual third and fourth inside the last furlong. She should certainly progress.
Jakarta Jazz did not run badly either. Restrained early, she was never close enough to challenge but ran on nicely enough to be nearest at the finish.[JOH]
