Another 45-60 handicap that looked open on paper with BLAZE TRAILER getting to the front at the expense of Pekan One inside the final furlong under a good ride from Amy Parsons.

The winner had suffered a couple of defeats over hurdles recentlyso certainly didn't lack for fitness. He asserted under a well-judged ride to record his first career win and his trainer intends mixing it over the coming months.

Pekan One had hinted at enough ability to make his presence felt in a race of this typethe last time out at Ballinrobe. He raced prominently from the outset, but was unlucky to come up against one too good on the night. He might appreciate a step back up in trip.

Rosangla had every chance approaching the furlong pole but couldn't raise her game to reach the leader.

Confirm plugged on for fifth, but was later disqualified when her rider failed to weigh in.

Stylish Bid was promoted to fifth spot. Running off her revised 5lb higher rating she was unable to get in a blow over this longer journey.
