The well-exposed daughter of Indian Lodge had a mark of 64 at one stage in her career. She raced off 46 here with the benefit of a run behind her this term, and leading inside the final furlong kept on well to land the spoils.
Espartano ran another consistent race in second off this competitive-looking mark. He was 3lb higher than his recent second at Down Royal but given he raced off 88 in July last year he still looks one to keep on the right side now that he has found his level.
Princess Teddy stepped up on her previous form with the fitting of first-time blinkers probably helping her cause.
Alf Tupper had shown signs of getting the hang of things running of thismark last time at Listowel, but he failed to build on that effort after racing in touch. He might want a little further as things happened a bit quick for him when the race unfolded.
Course and distance winner Appraise raced prominently into the straight, but was unable to maintain that momentum.
The fitting of first-time blinkers failed to bring about the desired effect with Joyful Tears.
Salishan was beaten at the time when suffering some interference in the closing stages.
