Analyis of the race

A 2m handicap run at a decent gallop went to TRANOS, who was 6lb higher than when scoring over course and distance last month. He's going the right way, though, for he trotted up here, travelling well, coming through to lead two out and being ridden clear. Fast ground suits, and he's progressing well. Front Rank, who had won on the Flat on his previous outing, raced up with the pace and kept on for second with Torrid Kentavr, who moved up going to the second last, back in third.
