Analyis of the race
The top weight was rated 99 in this 0-105 novice handicap chase, which was won in fine style by CLASSIC HARRY. A grand stamp of a horse, he has clearly taken time to come to himself, but jumping well and racing prominently, he strode clear from the second-last to win unchallenged. He'll shoot up the weights for this, so will find life tougher in future handicaps, but he should progress.
Essifer raced keenly, and though he lost his place down the far side, he kept on for second ahead of Justwhateverulike, who turned for home upsides the winner, but faded and lost second after the last. The latter is up in the weights, but his wins have been at around 2m, and he didn't seem to get home on this step back up in trip.
