Mahadee led, went 7 lengths clear halfway, hard ridden over 1f out, headed and no extra inside final furlong
Betonart chased leaders, ridden and hung right 2f out, one pace
Ba Dreamflight chased leader, hard ridden 3f out, weakened 2f out
Media Stars dwelt, towards rear, ridden 5f out, never troubled leaders
Poppy Dean chased leaders until weakened 2f out
Looter mainly moderate 6th, ridden 5f out, no chance final 3f
Zaarmit held up in rear, hit by clod of earth and looked uncomfortable from halfway, no chance final 3f
Mahadee appreciated the return to this trip having run poorly over 1m last time but he might be flattered by this as he was allowed to clear away without any of his rivals attempting to keep tabs.
There was a big gap back to Ba Dreamflight who weakened in the closing stages and the rest were well strung out.
