Papa´s Princess tracked leaders, stayed on to lead inside final furlong, held on towards finish
Chin Wag switched left after start, held up in rear, headway on inner and not clear run over 1f out, switched right inside final furlong, ran on, not quite reach winner
Valdan slowly into stride, soon in touch, effort 3f out, led 1f out, headed and no extra inside final furlong
Prince Noel mid-division, headway 3f out, kept on well final furlong
Bold Indian held up in rear, effort on outer over 2f out, stayed on final furlong
Shy Glance tracked leaders, led over 2f out, headed 1f out, kept on same pace
Grandad Bill held up in rear, headway 3f out, kept on, never reached leaders
Apache Nation mid-division, driven over 3f out, never near leaders
Joshua´s Gold chased leaders, weakened 1f out
Distant Pleasure chased leaders, weakened 1f out
Grethel chased leaders, lost place over 1f out
Lewis Lloyd started very slowly, always behind
Border Fox took keen hold, led until over 2f out, weakening when hampered over 1f out
Borodinsky soon chasing leaders on outer, driven 4f out, lost place over 2f out, soon behind
Chin Wag, drawn wide, ran a sound race in second, just ahead of Valdan, who made a spirited effort, but was worried out of this prize inside the final furlong.
Prince Noel, having only his third outing of the season, looks to be running into form. He should be capable of winning something similar in the not too distant future.
Shy Glance travelled well and looked a likely winner 2f out, but he was run out of it entering the last.
Grandad Bill is not the easiest of horses to win with and he met trouble in running here, otherwise he might well have joined his stablemates up front and enabled Goldie to complete a 1-2-3.
Apache Nation could never get in a blow and Lewis Lloyd lost his chance at the start.
