Her trainer now intends letting the winner take her chance in the heritage handicap at Newmarket next Thursday under a penalty, and in this sort of heart she could well play a hand in the finish as she is considered making up into a Listed performerlater on.
Flam set the pace and battled on well enough in the circumstances. Time may tell that she faced an impossible task with the winner and one of these should come her way.
Rabeera, making her handicap debut, ran well enough and there might be a little contest in her with more experience under her belt.
Red Icon was done no favours when raised 4lbfor getting beaten last time.
