Red Amaryllis led, ridden over 1f out, edged right, headed and unable to quicken inside final furlong

Ivory Silk held up, switched right over 1f out, ran on inside final furlong, no impression towards finish

Bohobe chased leader, ridden over 2f out, no extra inside final furlong

Sweet Kiss prominent, ridden over 2f out, weakened final furlong

Gower Belle prominent, ridden over 2f out, weakened final furlong

Ma Mirage chased leaders, ridden over 2f out, hung right and weakened over 1f out

Not surprisingly this fillies' handicap was won in a time over a second quicker than the seller and it went to LADY CAROLLINA, who looks a quietly progressive three-year-old who was having her first run in handicap company after the obligatory three starts. She had shown that something like this may well come her way when runner-up at Warwick last time and there is no reason she cannot go on from here and win again, as the handicapper cannot get too carried away with the way she took this.

RedAmaryllis remains a maiden after 12 attempts now and that is a bit worrying, while Ivory Silk seems to have plenty of weight for what she has actually achieved.
