Barbary Boy chased leaders, ridden to lead over 1f out, held on well under pressure inside final furlong
Foreign Rhythm in touch, ridden over 2f out, switched right over 1f out, ran on well to press winner well inside final furlong, held towards finish
Miss Taboo in touch, ridden and effort 2f out, every chance inside final furlong, unable to quicken last 100yds
Mrs Bun raced off the pace in midfield, headway over 1f out, stayed on well final furlong, not quite reach leaders
First Swallow outpaced and behind, headway 2f out, stayed on well final furlong, not reach leaders
Nickel Silver chased leaders, went 2nd over 1f out until inside final furlong, weakened quickly last 100yds
The Cube chased leaders on far side, ridden and hung left well over 1f out, weakened final furlong
Lydia´s Legacy behind, some modest late headway, never near leaders
Aspendale slowly into stride, raced off the pace in midfield, driven 3f out, never troubled leaders
Portugal went left start, well behind, some modest late headway, never on terms
Molly Two led until over 1f out, weakened rapidly final furlong
Admiral Bond went left start, raced off the pace in midfield, struggling halfway, never dangerous
Do As I Say chased leaders until halfway, soon weakened
Groundhog Day hampered start, always behind
Lovely Lilling in touch for 2f, soon struggling, well behind last 2f
Tendulkar´s Diva slowly into stride, always well behind
Foreign Rhythm, who was wearing a first-time visor, ran above herself, or at least ran above her rating, in giving the winner plenty to think about. Miss Taboo kept on well to finish right on the premises. Rated only 48, her close proximity tells you plenty about the overall quality of this race. Mrs Bun claimed fourth place and is now qualified for handicaps.
Of the others, newcomer Molly Two showed a fair bit of dash until fading from over a furlong out. She can be made fitter yet and, with further experience, may beable to do much better.
