Moonshine Beach led, ridden and headed over 2f out, weakening when short of room and hampered 1f out, well held after

Sendali held up in last, ridden and effort over 2f out, no impression

Senor Set held up in touch, wide and ridden bend 4f out, well behind last 2f, tailed off

Just an ordinary staying handicap for Class 5 performers, and just an ordinary gallop, before the tempo increased entering the final half-mile. ZELOSO has had his share of injury problems down the years and is a veteran now, but he still possesses plenty of enthusiasm and, under an excellent ride from Cathy Gannon, he got on top near the finish to win going away.

Pegasus Prince kept on, after briefly being tapped for foot, and showed enough to confirm that he's progressive horse and one capable of winning on turf to emulate his AW exploits. Thewhirlingdervish moved through on the bridle to throw down his challenge, but, having looked the most likely winner for a little while, he was worried out of it late in the day; a stronger end-to-end gallop would have suited him better.

Herrera, the only three-year-old in the field, had every chance on her handicap debut and trying this trip for the first time. She looked like a child taking on adults, and she faded out of it inside the last.
