Berrynarbor went right start, took keen hold towards rear, headway 4f out, ridden over 1f out, took 2nd well inside final furlong, not reach winner
Lady Jinks held up in touch, ridden over 2f out, kept on same pace final furlong
Just Sam held up in mid-division, headway over 6f out, ridden and chased winner over 1f out, soon edged left, no extra well inside final furlong
Balais Folly slowly into stride and stumbled, held up towards rear, headway when not clear run briefly over 2f out, hung left from over 1f out, no impression
Illusionary steadied and fly-jumped leaving stalls, held up towards rear, never near leaders
Mellifluous led, ridden and headed 2f out, weakened over 1f out
Atteme Bomb held up, soon mid-division, ridden over 3f out, soon behind
Avian Flew prominent until weakened over 4f out
Pure Inspiration chased leader until hung right bend over 3f out, weakened over 2f out
Berrynarbor, a 7f winner at Wolverhampton last November, was keen on this first run in almost six months but got the trip without a problem and should be all the better for the run.
Lady Jinks, who had gained her first placing when third in a 1m4f Lingfield seller a fortnight ago, ran a similar race here and can expect a jump in her rating of 43 after this effort. However, she is not going to find it easy to win, even in this grade, where she can expect to come up against several 60-rated rivals.
