Nimello held up, headway and edged left over 3f out, soon ridden, weakened final furlong
Shandelight prominent, chased leader over 4f out, ridden and weakened 2f out
Matinee Idol held up, headway when hampered 3f out, not recover
Toon Army behind from halfway
Brathay held up, pushed along 8f out, behind from halfway
Sibo Baggins chased leader until ridden over 4f out, edged left and weakened 3f out
Turner´s Touch slowly into stride, held up, always in rear, weakened 4f out, eased final furlong
Paul The Carpet stumbled start, pulled hard and prominent, hampered after 1f, soon lost place, ridden and weakened well over 4f out, eased final 2f
Persistent, who had 13lb to find with the winner, bounced back after a poor effort on turf on his previous starts six weeks earlier. He lived up to his name but was always booked for second spot.
Turner's Touch, the threat to the winner on official ratings, stopped to nothing on the home turn. He has yet to prove he can handle Fibresand as opposed to Polytrack but all the same this was a very poor effort.
