Fashion Icon behind, headway over 2f out, edged left under pressure over 1f out, one pace final furlong

Anacaona in touch, ridden and outpaced over 2f out, carried slightly left when no impression over 1f out

Bold Account prominent until ridden and weakened 2f out

Fathtastic missed break and bumped start, behind, never able to trouble leaders

Blue Dagger raced keenly, prominent, ridden and weakened over 2f out

The first six came clear of the rest. FOL LIAM took a bit of winding up but he kept responding to his rider's encouragement and held  on well in a good finish. It was his racecourse bow so thetre may be some improvement to come.

Smalljohn, oneof the most experienced runners in the lineup having fared well in better company, ran his race again.

Parisian Pyramid, a stable companion of the winner had shown speed on first time out at Newcastle and this represented improved form.

Kingswinsford had looked the form pick on early-season running and, appreciating this easier task than of recently, he has probably run to something like his mark.

Dropped in class, Transcentral did her cause no good by hanging left but she wasn't beaten all that far despite her substitute apprentice rider not being able to claim any of his 7lb allowance.

Lee Enstone reported that Blue Dagger ran too freely.

Fergus Sweeney reported that Bold Account ran too freely.

Edward Creighton reported that Fathtastic was never travelling.
