Wulimaster turned in a solid effort and made the winner pull out all the stops towards the finish. He should find compensation for this effort.
Trip The Light, having been raised 9lb for his latest success, became a little outpaced when the race began in earnest before staying on well; he appears to be going the right way.
Parchment, out the back early on, gradually warmed to his task. Denied a run up the inner, he was switched outside approaching the final furlong and stayed on strongly to be nearest at the finish.
