Commander Wish in touch early, lost place and midfield 3f out, ridden and headway over 1f out, ran on well under pressure to go 3rd near finish, not reach leaders
Roman Quintet prominent on outer, gradually crossed over and led after 1f, ridden over 1f out, headed last 100yds, faded towards finish
Colorus chased leaders, went 2nd 3f out, ridden to challenge entering final furlong, unable to quicken last 100yds
Royal Challenge taken down early, slowly into stride, behind, headway on far rail over 1f out, finished well, not reach leaders
Peopleton Brook in touch, ridden and headway 2f out, chased leaders 1f out, weakened last 100yds
Northern Chorus in touch, ridden and edging right well over 1f out, no impression after
Tumbleweed Di raced in midfield, switched right 2f out, never pace to trouble leaders
Viewforth led on far rail for 1f, ridden and struggling over 2f out, soon weakened
Morristown Music slowly into stride, behind, kept on under pressure over 1f out, never troubled leaders
Darcy´s Pride chased leaders until halfway, weakening when not much room 2f out
Yorke´s Folly always behind
Dhahab soon ridden along and outpaced in rear
CHOISETTE overcame the disadvantage of being drawn 2 to come out on top, while Roman Quintet, drawn 1, ran a blinder to finish fourth.
The winner, who had previously proved herself on the the all-weather, deserves credit for this performance, which resulted in a tight finish. She may now be on an upward curve.
Royal Composer ran another creditable race. Soon ridden along, he gradually got his act together and stayed on well, albeit without being quite able to reel in the winner in time. A try over 6f might bear fruit.
Colorus had every chance, while Royal Challenge ran a creditable race and Peopleton Brook, having looked a likely winner approaching the final furlong, then flattened out towards the finish.
