Star Grazer took keen hold, held up towards rear, ridden and little response 3f out, switched right 2f out, hanging left after, headway to chase leaders 1f out, kept on but never pace to trouble leaders
Colton held up in rear, headway over 4f out, every chance 3f out until 2f out, weakened over 1f out
Dnata Flyer chased leader, evry chance and ridden over 3f out, weakened well over 1f out
Silent Applause steadied after start and held up in rear, stumbled and lost ground 6f out, headway over 3f out, no impression and well held when hung left over 1f out
Iceman George held up in midfield, headway 4f out, ridden and struggling 3f out, well held final 2f
Seattle Spy chased leaders until 4f out, well behind final 3f, tailed off
Dancing Jest, from the in-form Rae Guest yard, had won over a mile here last season and had run well enough when stepped up to this trip last time and put inanother solid effort. She battled on well when headed by the winner without being able to quicken but she can win in this sort of company soon.
Star Grazer ran an encouraging race on her return to the turf and had her chance over a furlong out and is another for whom a little race can be found.
