Angel Rock steadied start, took keen hold, held up in rear, good headway on outer over 2f out, chased winner 1f out, ran on well to lead final stride
Skycap slowly into stride, held up in midfield, good headway over 3f out, led 2f out, ridden over 1f out, battled on well until headed final stride
Almonafis slowly into stride, took keen hold, held up in rear, headway 4f out, chased leaders and hanging left from over 2f out, kept on same pace final furlong
Capstan took keen hold, chased leader, hung right bend 5f out, led 3f out, ridden and headed 2f out, weakened final furlong
Spider Silk took keen hold, held up in midfield, ridden and hung left 3f out, not clear run and switched right over 2f out, no chance with leaders after
Colourful Move led, ridden and headed 3f out, weakened well over 1f out
Coliseum bustled along in rear, ridden over 4f out, soon lost touch, tailed off
Zeeran took keen hold, chased leaders, ridden over 3f out, weakened over 2f out, tailed off
Classy Affair steadied start, held up in rear, headway over 4f out, soon struggling, tailed off and eased well over 1f out
Renege The Joker chased leaders until lost place 5f out, well behind final 3f, tailed off and eased well over 1f out
Intercom in touch, ridden and beaten well over 2f out, tailed off and eased from well over 1f out
Skycap was held up in mid-division on his debut but quickened up to lead over 2f outand looked to have the race in the bag until caught in the last stride. He obviously made a pleasing debut and he can soon go one better.
Capstan was close up from the start and was a little keen before going on over 3f out but his lead was short-lived and he could only keep on at the same pace in the closing stages. He is handicapped now and he can be placed to good effect at the level provided he learns to settle a little better.
Spider Silk showed a little bit of ability and is another who can do better when handicapped and Colourful Move made the early running but could only keep on at one pace in the closing stages but at least should improve for the run.
