Khor Dubai held up in touch, switched left and headway 2f out, led over 1f out, ridden and held on well final furlong
Magaling took keen hold, held up in touch, headway 2f out, chased winner 1f out, kept on well but always just held
Annapolis towards rear, ridden 3f out, switched right over 1f out, stayed on steadily to go 3rd well inside final furlong, not trouble leading pair
Siciliando towards rear, ridden 3f out, kept on steadily final furlong, went 4th towards finish, never troubled leaders
Flyit pressed leader, ridden just over 2f out, outpaced final furlong
Sericus slowly into stride, held up towards rear, ridden 3f out, kept on steadily final furlong, not trouble leaders
Magical Illusion led, ridden just over 2f out, headed over 1f out, weakened final furlong
River Dee slowly into stride, behind and soon bustled along, kept on final furlong but never competitive
Jacobite Prince very slowly away, behind, some progress halfway, never troubled leaders
Clerical chased leaders until 2f out, soon ridden and weakened
Lady Dinsdale went right start and slowly away, headway and in touch halfway, ridden and hung right 2f out, soon weakened
Missou Maiden slowly into stride, always well behind
Magaling looked as if he needed to furnish his frame in the paddock but made a highly encouraging debut. He was soon close up and kept on strongly when coming through to chase the winner in the final furlong. Like all of his trainer's juveniles, he will come on considerably for this introduction and can find success in similar company.
Siciliando was soon chasing the leaders towards the far side and looks the sort to improve further with experience. He kept on well enough, is now qualified for nurseries, and a step up in trip could prove the key to success.
Flyit had been touched off at Bath last week and soon led but could only keep on at the one pace when headed by the winner. He is another who could fare better in nurseries and Sericus is another from whom better may be seen in the future when qualified for that grade.
Magical Illusion was soon chasing the leaders until weakening over a furlong out but she possesses some ability and a drop in class maybe over five furlongs could do the trick with her.
