Analyis of the race

The going had eased following a thunder storm in the morning and it was officially good (good to firm in places) with the riders agreeing with that assessment.This juvenile maiden did not look a great heat on paper and it was weakened further by the withdrawal of The Kyllachy Kid at the start. SWIFT CHAP was stepping up to this trip after a debut over a furlong and a half shorter and it clearly suited him as he stuck on well to win. He is a nursery horse over this trip or a mile for the future.

Kaada had also been beaten a fair way on her first outing and the same remark applies.
