Mozayada chased leaders, ridden 3f out, one pace approaching final furlong

Misplaced Fortune chased leaders, outpaced and lost place 5f out, rallied over 2f out, edged right, one pace

Honeycott took keen hold in rear, effort 4f out, never near leaders

Miss Understanding in rear, headway and driven over 4f out, lost place over 1f out

Awaken held up, effort on outer over 4f out, weakened 2f out

Typically little strength in depth to this fillies' handicap, with plenty easy to dismiss on recent efforts. But SWEET SARA had shown ability in maidens and confirmed it on this handicap debut, always to the fore, leading over 2f out and holding on well. She remains unexposed after just four outings and this was a fair effort by a three-year-old under 10st so she probably has more races in her.

Sceilin was the form choice judged on her victory at Bath eight days earlier and she looked to run up to her best in second, leading until over 3f out and giving the form a solid look. Malinsa Blue had not been running well but had tumbled to an attractive mark as a result and ran a better race on this return to 1m2f, keeping on for third - though there was not much in this race bar the first two she looks to have found her level now.
