Starlarks made all on stands' side, battled on and hard pressed from over 1f out, held on gamely, all out
Acquiesced mid-division in centre, ridden and headway well over 1f out, edged slightly left but ran on strongly final furlong, just held
Evelyn May prominent in centre, ridden and every chance from over 1f out, kept on but no extra towards finsish
Russian Rave took keen hold tracking leader on stands' side, ridden over 2f out, kept on same pace final furlong
Abby Belle chased leading pair on stands' side, effort 2f out, kept on same pace final furlong
Evaluation ran green towards rear of centre group, stayed on from over 1f out, never going pace to get on terms
Always There led centre group until well over 1f out, weakened inside final furlong
Perfect Pride mid-division in centre, bumped over 2f out, soon ridden, kept on same pace final furlong
Dream Huntress slowly into stride, towards rear of centre group, headway and switched left over 2f out, no further impression from over 1f out
Snoqualmie Girl prominent in centre, ridden 3f out, gradually faded
Sicilian Pink mid-division of centre group until 2f out
Fly Butterfly slowly into stride, soon switched to centre group, mainly in rear
Amatara prominent in centre until 3f out, soon hung left and weakened
STARLARKS remains progressive, putting her experience to good use. Ridden more positively after narrowly failing over 5f last time after a slow start, she made all and battled on tenaciously. With local connections, she will be found something at Goodwood, a track that should suit this handy filly.
Acquiesced carried her owner's first colours but was not trainer's shortest in thebetting. This early foal is related to winners over a mile and more, so this was a most promising debut, just failing to reel in the winner after crucially running green when first put under pressure on this debut. She should soon add to her trainer's winning roster.
Russian Rave and Abby Belle showed good pace but as previously were well put in their places in the final furlong.
Evaluation was far too green to do herself justice. Still nearly last into the final 2f, she started to get the hang of things and will be a different proposition next time. Always There showed good pace for a filly who is bred to find a mile more to her liking. She can build on the bare form over further, along with Perfect Pride and Dream Huntress, who were not disgraced on their debuts.
Snoqualmie Girl stumbled badly after a few strides but showed pace until weakening out of it.
