That he pulled well clear with Blakfrankisch does not augur well for the others finding another winning opportunity. Constant Cheers made light of his 7lb rise for his recent win and on the face of it looks to be improving at the age of five. He won this a shade cosily with his rider giving him a confident ride and just pushing him out in the final 100 yards, having seen off what had looked a dangerous challenge against the inside rail by Blakfrankisch. The handicapper is likely to exclude him from this grade after this but he clearly enjoys fast conditions and is progressing on the back of it.
