Isabella Grey in touch, pushed along halfway, progress to chase leader over 1f out, ran on to lead final strides
Caranbola led, ridden over 1f out, worn down final strides
Zuzu tracked leaders, ridden to challenge and every chance entering final 2f, kept on same pace and no danger to front pair final furlong
Anglezarke held up, headway after 2f, ridden when challenging 2f out, no extra approaching final furlong
Common Diva prominent, ridden 2f out, weakened over 1f out
Super Midge held up, ridden over 1f out, hung left when no impression inside final furlong
Fuaigh Mor in touch, pushed along halfway, weakened 2f out
Game Roseanna missed break, ran green and soon outpaced
Vintage Steps stumbled start, in touch, ridden and weakened 2f out
Silk Meadow missed break, always behind, tailed off
She kept on well in the closing stages and with another furlong sure to suit there is a deal of improvement to come. She had run very green first time out here and her trainer felt she had done this time what he had expected on her debut.\Caranbola made a bold effort to lead from pillar to post and this consistent filly saw off all bar the winner, to whom she was conceding 4lb, and came clear of the third.
ZuZu was just found wanting in the last furlong or so but she had shown good pace and she will be all the better for this experience.
Better could have been expected of Common Diva after her win at Pontefract and maybe the ground had eased a bit too much for her.
Vintage Steps stumbled at the start and was another tending to edge left. She is better than she was able to show.
