Tripod Molly tracked leaders, effort 3f out, closed under pressure and with leader over 1f out, faded final furlong

Love Angel virtually refused to race, pottered around tailed off
He had finished ahead of Dancing Dik previously and was weighted to do so again, so it was not such a surprise but the style of it was. Dropping back in trip, he looked like being outpaced into the straight but took offin the final furlong to win going away.
He is a relatively unexposed 3yo but this was a much weaker contest than his recent turf assignments and his future depends on how the handicapper reassesses him for beating two in-form rivals.
The strong pace was covered by both Dancing Dik and Tripod Molly and when Director's Chair was rushed up and away into a clear lead, which he still held into the final 3f, they committed probably earlier than ideal and were sitting ducks into the final furlong. Dancing Dik has still run another solid race in cheekpieces under his penalty.
L'Homme de Nuit has a bit of an in-and-out profile but with blinkers left off and a tongue-tie added, he ran a stronger race than on his recent AW bow in them.
Love Angel virtually refused to race and gave them 100yds start.
