DANJET, having her first run back in the care of David Evans, regained the winning thread after a break of almost a year. She had not won since her two-year-old days and switching back to her previous trainer seems to have done the trick. She had also slipped right down the weights and it would be no great surprise if she went in again under a penalty before the handicapper can have his say.
Summer Recluse has dropped to a winnable mark but his stable is still struggling for its best form. However, there is probably one of these in him when things do pan out.
Trinculo played his usual role as the hare but is always going to be vulnerable to those coming from off the pace.
