Analyis of the race
Once again they wanted to be middle to stands side and the winner, AMBROSE PRINCESS, made her move closest to the rail which may have swung it for her as the runner-up tended to run off a true line towards the finish from his low draw.
The winner had won two sellers as a juvenile, but this was the first time she has struck since and, as she had plenty of help as far as official figures are concerned. This is about as good as she is as she had the best of the draw the way the race was run.
Never Sold Out was not as well drawn and had had to do it down the centre and that seemingly made the difference in the closing stages as he wanted to drift right when getting tired in the closing stages.
New Balls Please was dropping to this company from handicap class and is another for whom winning seems difficult on this evidence.
