Baybshambles chased leaders on inside, stayed on well final furlong, led post
Rasaman with leaders, led just inside final furlong, edged right, headed post
River Thames held up on stands' side, headway over 1f out, not clear run inside final furlong, switched right and kept on towards finish
First Order tracked leaders on wide outside, hung left and kept on final furlong
Hawaii Prince with leader, led on inside 2f out, headed just inside final furlong, hampered and faded
Brut prominent, outpaced after 2f, kept on final furlong
Windjammer chased leaders, faded approaching final furlong
Cape Royal prominent, outpaced and lost place after 2f
Classic Encounter led overall in centre, headed 2f out, weakened approaching final furlong
Rasaman had been disappointing of late but showed more for the refitting of cheekpieces, leading led entering the final furlong but edging right and caught late on - he is well treated on his best form.
Hawaii Prince was anything but disgraced from 8lb out of the handicap, leading over two furlongs out until entering the final furlong and then hampered inside the final furlong. Brut could not take advantage of his slipping mark.
