Luxuria made virtually all, ridden and stayed on well from over 1f out
Kitty Allen reluctant to enter stalls, tracked leaders, going strongly over 2f out, chased winner well over 1f out, soon not quicken and no impression
Mistress Mary with winner until just over 2f out, soon outpaced and beaten
Carina Nebula dwelt, swishing tail early but tracked leaders after 2f, effort over 2f out, faded over 1f out
Betoula fractious before going in stalls, tracked leaders, ridden over 2f out, soon beaten
Coconut Shy started slowly, always struggling in rear, no chance final 2f
Into My Arms never on terms with leaders, struggling from halfway
Duchess Of Doom dwelt, took keen hold, held up in midfield, stumbled after 1f, not recover, tailed off
Halaak fractious before going in stalls, always behind, tailed off
Royal Acclaim tracked leaders, close 5th when broke leg and unseated rider just inside final 2f
Returning from six weeks off the track, she showed considerable improvement on her Windsor debut, making just about all of the running and always holding Kitty Allen up the straight. She can go on to better things.
Kitty Allen was one of several who played up at the start, delaying proceedings by several minutes, but she travelled well through the race and also seemed to show improved form in coming came home clear of the rest. She is eligible for a nursery mark now.
Carina Nebula did best of the newcomers, ahead of Betoula, who was another who played up, and selling second Coconut Shy, who was unruly in the stalls.
John Egan reported Kitty Allen ran too free.
