The ex-German KABALLERO had not shown much over here, but he had tumbled from an original mark of 82 to just 62, and this was a much lower class race than the first two he contested this season. With new tactics adopted, he had the early lead and stayed handy when Moves Goodenough went on. Back in front with well over two furlongs to go and clear into the straight, he was challenged by Run For Ede's in the final furlong but stuck his neck out.
Run For Ede's is also starting to look better treated, and she looked a threat when beginning her challenge between horses. She was always held through the closing stages, but this was more encouraging.
Moves Goodenough continues in reasonable form and seemed to run his race.
Calistos Quest was close enough if good enough, but Million Percent was never in a challenging position and only ran on when the race was over.
Hayley Turner reported Moves Goodenough ran too free.
Seb Sanders reported Blue Space was hampered soon after the start and never travelling.
