ALEATRICIS needs this sort of trip, for he was being driven along from three furlongs out, but he stayed on well to get in front in the final furlong, but in the end only just held on. He shapes as though he'll stay further.
Next Of Kin, having his first run in a handicap and his first run of the season, also took a while to pick up, but ran on strongly in the final furlong only to fail by a nose to get up. Like the winner, he shapes as though he'll stay further than this, and should win a race.
Jemima's Art raced keenly early, and after travelling well, didn't pick up when ridden.
Marie Camargo is on a fair mark, and is better than she showed here for she got upset in the stalls.
