Luminaire was desperately easy to back but will certainly improve. He tracked the early leaders but didn't look entirely happy, appearing to run quite green at times and changing his legs in the straight as though he may have been feeling the ground. However, he should have little trouble winning a maiden and possibly stepping up in grade.
Zarilan is another that looks certain to improve a good deal for this experience. He lost a bit of ground at the start, but did manage to make up that lost ground to be on the heels of the leaders before the turn into the straight. From there he ran on pretty well at one pace. It's hard to know what trip will be his best.
Dinah Doll, a stable companion of the winner, ran well on her seasonal bow. Never close enough to be able tochallenge, she ran on nicely under hands and heels to be never nearer. There should be a fair bit of improvement to come. [JO'H]
