The brother to the 106-rated Moon Unit looks sure to pay his way on this evidence, with his trainer reporting afterwards he was bought with the Goffs Million in mind. While his better known sister struggled in her two starts over 7f, he showed enough here to suggest it might play to his strengths. The winning jockey feels he'll be an even better colt over the longer journey.
Lac A Dancer had run a creditable fifth on the all-weather at Dundalk last month over a furlong shorter, but she saw out this trip well when staying on strongly. She looks on the right track and can hopefully build again on this pleasing display.
Sea Of Marmara was easy to back beforehand. He raced in touch turning for home, but was unable to quicken in this slower ground along with long-time leader Comadoir, who faded entering the final furlong fitted with first-time blinkers.
Agent Of Change, stable companion of Comadoir and the stable pick with Kevin Manning on board, raced prominently behind the front-runner, but he was soon going nowhere when they straightened for home. His rider accepted the situation and is obviously better than the bare form suggests.
