Isaac Newton tracked leaders, mistake 6th, reminders next, led approaching 3 out, headed next, stayed on same pace
Laureldean Melody held up well in touch, smooth headway 8th, shaken up and switched right after 2 out, kept on last 100yds
The Hedge jumped right, led until approaching 3 out, lost place approaching next
Royal Game took keen hold, tracked leader, ridden 8th, lost place approaching next
Ben Tirran chased leaders, reminders 6th, lost place approaching 3 out
Isaac Newton, who won a seller on the course last time, was off the bridle a fair way out, but he stuck on pretty well.
These three finished clear of The Hedge, who dropped away in the straight, while Royal Game was too keen.
