A fine front-running performance from chasing debutant MILL HOUSE GIRL to win a race not short of incident. A clear leader from early in play, she jumped from fence to fence and travelled supremely well throughout. If the first fence in the straight hadn't been omitted on the final two circuits, it's not hard to come to the conclusion that she would have won by even further.

There were no stars in her immediate wake. Alkindly chased the lead for most of the journey and lay second from a circuit out. She jumped reasonably safely but couldn't land any sort of a blow, although to her credit, having been headed for second place before the last, she kept on well to regain that position close home. She'll be suited by a step up in trip.

Myeniscrone was never a factor in any real sense and just stayed on at one pace in the straight.

Favourite Ouhetu Des Mottes had everything go against her on her chasing debut. She was badly hampered at the first fence, managed to get back into the race to some degreeon the final circuit, then couldn't do any more from early in the straight. The rider reported afterwards that she lost her confidence after that first fence incident. [JOH]
