Princess Shirl unseated rider going down and ran loose for several minutes, behind, ridden and struggling 4th, tailed off 3 out, pulled up next
Mendip Dane brough down 1st
Dancewiththestars was pulled up on her reappearance in a non-selling handicap over 2m4f at Fakenham last month, but she was well-supported on this drop in class and trip and ran a decent race. However, she had run outof steam when third over 2m2f at Fontwell last year, and she again found herself clearly outpointed by a stronger finisher here.
Bobansheil, who has rather lost her way since winning at Sedgefield last December, plugged on late to snatch a moderate fourth from the doubly-penalised General Alarm, whose limitations were well-exposed under his big weight.
